Shaking while doing planks

Not just planks but it’s very noticeable and I think everyone has experienced it

To be clear I’m looking more into the HOW it happens, I understand that it’s because the muscles are getting tired but why does that result in shaking instead of just dropping or starting to soften. Is it because nerves are failing and not giving a constant “on”, accumulation of byproducts, lack of oxygen…

Our cells make ATP, this is like the gas your muscles burn to clench. Your muscles don’t store a lot, only a few seconds worth, so they constantly need to make more. And we have a few ways of doing this:

So as you burn through ATP, you use replacement sources that are less reliable and you won’t get quite enough to keep them flexed
