How does mouth movement and sign language match the words they sign?

Natural sign languages like ASL don’t correspond word-to-word with spoken languages. They have their own grammar, sometimes even “spatial grammar”. They are not meant to be used simultaneously with spoken languages.

There are also, the so called Signed Systems, like Signed English, that are artificial languages designed to emulate the spoken grammar. But from what I hear, they are not considered effective means of communication by deaf communities.
