Could someone explain the concept of singularity in philosophy to me? An example would be helpful!

A singularity is a point beyond which predictions cannot be made.

It’s commonly used in terms of an “AI singularity”, which means “at some point an actually ‘intelligent’ computer system will exist, and it’s impossible to say what will happen next”.
