Small electric charging stations

Why are all electric charging stations in the United States so small? No shade, restroom, convenience store, food, spots for heavy trucks/trailers? Is it because the market hasn’t created a need for them yet? Do other countries have them?

The largest EV charge networks run by car companies selling EV’s (the two largest in the US are run by Tesla and VW). Their primary concern is “coverage” so people can drive EV’s everywhere. So it is in their best interest to focus on more stations than on having rest stop infrastructure built up around them (though that often comes later, especially since EV drivers have to wait 20 minutes when charging).
