CONCACAF is the acronym for “Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football”. The Gold Cup is the main competition of the National Teams of the countries part of said Confederation.

Copa America (America Cup) is a competition held by CONMEBOL the Confederation of South American countries and is the only National Teams competition not to have a preliminatory or classification process. All South America’s National Teams compete in the early rounds and are eliminated within the tournament
