Some countries produce 1% or less of total carbon emissions worldwide. Is it necessary for those countries to reduce their emissions? Why can’t we just focus on the worst polluters like China and India?
Once you exempt one country, you need to start exempting others. That’s the kind of slippery slope thinking that’s put us in a climate crisis in the first place.
