Not sure I understand the question but perhaps the simplest answer is all that data is not just stored on your phone. It’s on giant server farms around the globe often times redundantly.
This is also a big complaintband debate of software/music/data storage in general. You used to buy a CD for a product and it worked for as long as you had the CD because you literally physical owned the data. Now most everything is stored online… So say if you didn’t pay your iTunes bill – they cutoff access to the data whereas “back in the day” Sony isn’t walking into my house to get data back.
