TV antenna vs radio antenna

You know when you have the tv antenna, the old bunny ear style, & it’s really windy outside, the tv channels seem to skip in & out but the songs on radio stations don’t skip?

TV antennas are directional – they need to point in the direction of transmitting stations, so when wind shakes it, you loose transmission strength. Radio antennas are omnidirectional. This is ELI5, so omitting other complicated things.
