My Mac charger can charge my quest 2.
But my quest 2 won’t charge my mac.
My cheap crappy Bluetooth headphones will charge with their usbC cable plugged into generic usb wall charger.
But will not charge with my Mac charger?

To clarify for your actual question: the MacBook charger is only delivering 20v “USB PD” (power delivery).
Your headphones probably only accept 5v usb power, which isn’t energized on the Apple power adapter.
