My Mac charger can charge my quest 2.
But my quest 2 won’t charge my mac.
My cheap crappy Bluetooth headphones will charge with their usbC cable plugged into generic usb wall charger.
But will not charge with my Mac charger?

The great thing about USB-C is that it’s a standard and widely-supported physical size. Also great is that you can plug them in upside down and they still work.
Unfortunately though, what’s inside the USB-C port and/or cable can vary wildly. It’s beyond frustrating because you have no idea if a cable will work properly or not as there are multiple standards. Different voltages, data speeds, etc.
