I’ve seen lots of post on social media recently about how when Americans study abroad in Europe, they’re always so thirsty because in Europe “no one drinks water.” Why is there such a drastic difference between regions?

The quality and reliability of the drinking water in some countries means that some places have low levels of water drinking, but it isn’t the same across Europe, many countries in Europe most people drink water regularly.
