Antibiotics attack living cells however they are able to target the differences between bacteria cells and human cells so they don’t directly harm humans and are effective at fighting infections caused by bacteria though not effective against viruses. There are three main types of antibiotics penicillins, macrolides and fluoroquinolones and each type attacks in a different way, but the over use of antibiotics is meaning that some bacteria are able to fight off the effects of some antibiotics https://youtu.be/04brjRdc02w
