Particulates, especially mold spores and pet dander. House dust is usually a combination of dead skin from you and/or your pets, plus dust mites.
But also stuff like pollen and smoke particles are comon if, e.g., windows are open in warm weather, it’s wildfire season, or someone smokes in the house. Indoor smoking is the worst thing I can imagine, air quality-wise.
Carbon monoxide is possible if you have gas appliances, but that’s why you keep a CO detector installed.
