What are differences between NIMH and non rechargable AAA batteries? What are pros and cons of each? Which ones would be more efficient for trimmers and etc. in a long term?

Rechargeable NiMH cells are good for delivering high current that depletes a battery quickly. Devices with motors would fall in this category. Single use alkaline cells have more capacity if discharged slowly, such as in clocks or remote controls. Paying for a rechargeable cells might not be cost-effective. NiMH also self-discharges over time faster.

Non rechargable batteries work by a reaction that only goes one way. Rechargable batteries go both ways ~~giggity~~

Rechargable would be cheaper than buying batteries constantly, but AC is cheaper still and doesn’t suffer losing performance as battery charge depletes, if that’s an option.
