When I taught the formula class at the user conference for the SaaS product I work with, I used these examples during my semantics portion:
If the score is above 89, the grade is A. Above 79 is B. Above 69 is C
If the score is above 69, the grade is C. Above 79 is B. Above 89 is A
Between these two, if my score is 92 for the first example I receive an A grade. In the second example I receive a C grade. Semantics is that what you intend to occur doesn’t because of a design problem
