The tests **measure different things** with **different assumptions**. Normal tests typically measure the potential statistically significant difference in sample versus actual mean when the underlying distribution is known to be normal. Student-t measures potential differences in means when the sample size is small or the underlying distribution is approaching, but not guaranteed to be a normal. F-test is used to compare distributions, and so on.
