Raptors like hawks and eagles like a good fish dinner. Some snakes can swim and eat fish too. Racoons eat fish too

Bigger fish eater smaller fish. The more fish that reach adulthood, the fewer younger fish that will because they are predators. Not to mention any of the other predators like birds, turtles, snakes, mammals and etc, disease, pollution, or food shortages that would starve off some fish.
