What causes rapid weather changes? On day the high is 40F, the next its 80F. What changed?

Like, heat comes from the sun, right? The sun didn’t suddenly move from its winter position to its summer position. What happened from one day to the next? I would assume these kinds of changes would happen gradually, not need a coat one day to shorts the next.

Weather patterns are caused by pressure differentials. Heat and cold, moisture, evaporation and precipitation cause movement of air and water around different geological formations, mountain Forest, Desert. The swirl and flow of all this different temperature air drives currents of low and high pressure which can shift over areas quickly and change a big change in weather.
