Think of thc like kids going to the brain party and the lungs as like a bullet train to the liver. The thc hops onto the lungs and the lung train sends them in a few different routes to the liver but most them make their first transfer from the liver to the brain bus on time.
Eating thc however slowly let’s the thc kids into the busses as the intestines break then down and enter your blood stream. or.. uh brain bus. Anyway, the thc coming from the intestines are all late basically and won’t all make the first bus or Tyne second and so many will miss the bus to the brain party at first and half have to walk and so their party is less condensed and more spread out.

So smoking slams your liver with tons of thc and it pushes larger amounts into your brain quick within the first wave of hormone cycle of liver which like all hormone cycles is about 20 min utes….
the thc chemical is relatively the same smoked or ingested and effects the brain similarly but only in certain amounts. Since eating gives you a different dose, you get different reactions but they seem major because thc receptors are in a lot of brain cells so when you flood the brain with anything usually it ends up making it into more brain cells then just slowly adding drugs to the brain. Then different regions of the brain are activated by eating and smoking causing huge differences in cognition.
