Weather can be defined as the condition of the atmosphere at any given time and place. Weather conditions are determined by six major factors: air temperature, air pressure, humidity of the air, amount and kind of cloud cover, amount and kind of precipitation, and speed and direction of the wind.
The cause of all weather can pretty much be reduced to two things: heat from the sun and the tilt and rotation of the earth.
The differential heating of the Earth’s surface by the sun drives currents in the ocean and in the atmosphere.
Those currents and how they interact with one-another gives us weather.
