What causes temperature increase/decrease, rain, storms, etc.?

The cause of all weather can pretty much be reduced to two things: heat from the sun and the tilt and rotation of the earth.

The differential heating of the Earth’s surface by the sun drives currents in the ocean and in the atmosphere.

Those currents and how they interact with one-another gives us weather.
