It may neutralize your stomach acid a bit temporarily but probably not much. Most alkaline water you can buy is barely alkaline because otherwise it would be unsafe to drink, so it really won’t do much of anything. The stomach generates acid to compensate changes in pH so any change would be pretty temporary.

As others have mentioned, there is no benefit to alkaline water. My biochemistry professor actually brought up alkaline water during a lecture, mentioned how pointless it was. Long story short, if you were able to adjust your body’s pH in any significant way, you’d die. Quickly.

You partially neutralize the acid and slightly harm protein digestion if you ate any. The alkalinity would not propagate through the body because it has mechanisms for keeping the pH within tight margins. You might benefit from minerals in the special water.

Basically nothing at all. Our bodies produce acid to break down food in our stomach and then a base to neutralize it for the later stages of digestion. Drinking alkaline water just means it will release a little more acid and form some salts.
