Upstream and Downstream = This displays if your modem/router is able to receive as well as output information. So essentially if you had only the US light going, the modem/router is sending info but not receiving any due to bad coax port or fibre line or port isn’t active.

2.4Ghz = This is a band of wifi, it’s better for long range, but only expect around 50mbps wirelessly.

5Ghz = Faster but not as good of range. It has more wifi channels available so it doesn’t get congested. If you have static items in your house that stay in one spot and can use the 5Ghz, use it!

US = upstream = uploading. Whatever data is coming from your devices on the network through the router, through the modem and then to the ISP.

DS = downstream = downloading. Whatever data you’re receiving from the ISP through the router and then onto your devices.

Your ISP will probably have a recommended / compatible router and modem list. It’s good to go through this list, they might not be the absolute 100% top of the line best devices, but they are more likely to be compatible with your service and cause the fewest issues in troubleshooting if you do have service issues.

U/s is likely upstream, what is leaving you and D/s is likely downstream, what is coming in to you.
