What Does 50% Wet and Dry Mean?

I get wet and dry meaning having or not having effects. My question is that when sound is reproduced, how is it decided which analog signals are reproduced with effects and not effects? Like in a speaker, the analog signal is reproduced through the digital signal which sends info on the vibrations to send to the magnet that moves the part of the speaker that creates air waves. But only digital signal is sent at a time but really fast so how is it decided which signals are wet and which are dry?

Wet and dry ratio is the property of a mix. The processed and unprocessed signals are electrically summed together in a proportion and become one again, and it is passed on to go to a speaker or another box. 50% wet means to multiply the effects output by one half and add it to the source. Summation can be either analog or digital, but ultimately has to be turned into an analogue alternating current to drive a speaker.

If you have two signals on a wire on separate frequency bands like two telehone conversations, there is no mix and no wet/dry ratio.
