I’m not a native English speaker and I don’t understand this slang. I see a lot of comments on Reddit such as “based and redpilled” but I don’t get what it means.

ok i’ve seen this alot. Based means based in reality. The word is typically used by right wing people referring to their own opinions. Left wing statements can’t be “based in reality” because the right wingers don’t see it as realistic.
