If your glasses prescription is minus 1 that means your eyeball has built in plus 1 glasses inside. To get good vision you need to subtract 1 to get to zero. So 1 – 1= 0 and zero means you have good vision. When you get older we can talk about the other numbers and what they mean but you need some geometry, fractions, and division first.

Ultimately you are mildly nearsighted with a very mild astigmatism. Glasses or contacts would help. Go see an actual eye doctor for actual advice 🙂
