wavelength is a property of a wave. The wavelength has nothing to do with the wave particle duality.

Light is said to be particle and a wave as it will behave as one or the other depending on the situation. This is due to the quantum nature of light.

wavelength is the measurement of energy of a photon. The shorter the wavelength the more energy the photon has. Radio waves are very low energy and can have a wavelength of km. Gama rays are extremely high energy photons. They have a wavelength of 10^-11 or 10 picometers and smaller.

A photon with a shorter wavelength is vibrating back and forth faster than a photon with a longer wavelength. Higher frequency = shorter wavelength. Higher frequency also means more energy is carried by the photon.

Photons that are very high in energy have greater potential to do stuff like ionize atoms (as in ionizing radiation being damaging to DNA) or break molecular bonds (like when O2 is broken into individual oxygen molecules by high energy cosmic rays that then reform into O3).
