Does it change the amount of water used? Where it goes? Obviously one is for piss and one for poop lol

The two button flush offers a half flush.
You could just reduce the amount of water in the tank (place a full water bottle in there) but then you would end up with cases where not enough water is delivered and waste remains in the toilet.
