So, today I woke up in a really good mood and ready to take on the world. By noon I ended up having a fight with my spouse, and it really drained me. During this short fight my mood and energy levels went to zero, and as a result I felt exhausted, and that I just want to spend the whole day on the couch. I feel like it is a hormone thing. What kind of things happen in the brain when this happens? Do some kind of feel-good hormones drain away when you have a negative experience like this? Motivation is gone, energy is gone, but I know I will feel normal again tomorrow when I wake up.
