What happens to new construction builds without a finished roof when it rains?

What’s the process for when it rains on new build houses/apartments before the roofs go on? Do they just let it dry out, no mold concerns?

As a general rule of thumb you’re not really going to be installing anything that will get damaged by rain before you put the roof on.

So for most things yeah – you just let it get wet and then dry out when it stops raining.

Mold and such shouldn’t be a concern because there shouldn’t be any building materials being used at that stage that would be prone to mold. Plus there’s still plenty of airflow, etc at that stage of a build so once it stops raining stuff should dry out fairly quickly.

If it’s going to rain for an extended period of time that you’re probably going to want to cover stuff with tarps to prevent too much water building up
