Does the chlorine kill everything? Does the large amount of water dilute it?

Fun fact, eyes getting irritated in pools is the result of getting a chloramine in them, chloramines get created when substances found in urine bind with the chlorine of the pool. Mostly chlorine in itself isn’t an irritant on the level chloramines are. Chloramines can even cause respiratory issues.
