What is aerodynamics and does it play a part when skydiving?

Aerodynamics is everything about how moving objects interact with the air (or other gases) they move through, or which move around them. So all the maneuvering a skydiver does while freefalling is aerodynamics, and the reasons why a parachute even works at all, is *also* aerodynamics.
