It is a strain of anarchism which holds that workers’ unions are the best institutions to represent the working public in a revolution against state and capital. Their vision of the revolution is basically that, through strikes and direct action, unions take over the ownership and management of their own workplaces, and businesses are thereafter run democratically by their workers.
