Its another way for the government to take advantage of you lol.
If you get pay outside of your regular pay, for example: You’re a plumber who works for a company and you do a little plumbing on the side for a commission (or money). You will get taxed for it.
Commission tax in the U.S. is about 25% regardless of how much you make.
If its below $600 the IRS won’t really care if you don’t report it.
