What is enthalpy(h)?

I know what is for formulas in thermodynamics, but I am not sure exactly what it is physically.

It’s not something that exists physically, it’s a concept that we came up with to do thermodynamic equations simpler. But you can think of it as the total amount of energy in a system that can be used to do some kind of work.

It’s the amount of energy available in a fluid. Mathmaticaly, it’s a commination of the internal energy (related to temperature), pressure, and volume of fluid.
