Ok, I’m going to explain Euthyphro’s dilemma, as though i’m literally teaching five year old. something not many on this sub actually do:
Euthyphro’s dilemma is like when you have to decide if something is good because God says it’s good or if God says it’s good because it’s already good. It’s like when your teacher tells you that you did a good job coloring a picture, but you know you did a good job even if your teacher didn’t say anything. So, is something good because God says it’s good, or is it already good and God just tells us about it? That’s what Euthyphro’s dilemma is all about.
