Neoliberalism is when people think the government should do less and people with companies should do more. If a government owns all the trains, a neoliberal would want the government to sell all the trains to companies. The process of selling something owned by the government to a company is called corporatization.

Neoliberalism is a political philosophy that favors things like free-market capitalism, deregulation, free trade, globalization, and privatization. As far as pros go, a neoliberal would tell you that these policies lead to lower costs for goods and a higher standard of living. For the cons, an opponent of neoliberal policies would say that they are harmful to workers and the poor.
