R&B = Rhythm and Blues
It’s a genre of music that was originated by African Americans in the 1940’s. It has themes that are ususally about lost love, finding love, financial or social woes, and some are more upbeat but with a soulful sound. Famous artists include Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and many others.
Korean R&B is the same sound and themes but with South Korean artists.
