easy transmission. your right there touching it.

other types of disease need to travel in teh air or water for long periods without a host.

It’s just that saliva doesn’t contain nearly as much “stuff” as other bodily fluids like those produced by the genitals, blood, etc. Sex isn’t special in this context. .. It’s just the most common transfer of these bodily fluids.

It’s the transfer of fluids mixed with mucus membrane in the genitals.
Anal is extra receptive to transfer due to the high absorbancy in the skin wall.

You are literally Injecting a bodily fluid into another person. That’s why it’s so transmitty lol

Sex involves a whole bunch of ways to transfer bacteria and viruses. Most social interactions don’t include rubbing mucus membranes and semen. You got stuff that can only live inside the human body (although feel free to read up on Hep B). You got semen, you got salvia, you can get microtears in your skin which viruses can get through. It is a really easy way to transmit infection or disease, we might as well be open mouth coughing into each other’s faces while sharing needles. Also, a lot of STI can be caught though other ways that aren’t sex.

I hope that made sense
