What is the actual difference between shampoo and body wash?

Mostly nothing. In fact there isn’t much difference between all soaps and regular old hand soap. We bought some dial body wash because the regular have soap was sold out. Right there on Amazon they list the ingredients, that are/were exactly the same thing, just in a different sized bottle. Same thing with Excedrin, all the formulations (except for the extra strength which simply has more of the ingredient) are exactly the same. Motrin and advil are the same thing. Companies bet that people are too lazy to turn the bottle around and read, and they are basically correct in that assertion..
