The City of London Corporation is the city government of the City of London. Contrary to the name, the City of London is only a very small district of the London metropolitan area, which is governed by the Greater London Authority. Most of London is divided into administrative boroughs, and although the City of London is not technically a borough it is analogous to one. The City of London is notable for being the location of much of London’s financial sector, akin to Wall Street in New York City.

To my knowledge it does not relate at all to the British Parliament, which is located in the neighboring City of Westminister.

“Corporation” in this context refers to a municipal corporation, which is just the legal structure for the city, and has nothing to do with any business.

“London” is a huge area that span numerous legally-distinct entities. Most of those are the “boroughs,” which have their own council and work in concert with the Greater London Authority. The City of London is not a borough but is similar in many respects. It’s part of the historic center of London and is the home to its financial district.

The City is its own parliamentary constituency (electoral district), but that’s not really anything special.
