The City of London Corporation is the city government of the City of London. Contrary to the name, the City of London is only a very small district of the London metropolitan area, which is governed by the Greater London Authority. Most of London is divided into administrative boroughs, and although the City of London is not technically a borough it is analogous to one. The City of London is notable for being the location of much of London’s financial sector, akin to Wall Street in New York City.

To my knowledge it does not relate at all to the British Parliament, which is located in the neighboring City of Westminister.
