A social worker is someone who helps organise support for vulnerable people. For example, helping asylum seekers with their asylum application, helping refugees access healthcare, checking that children are not being abused, finding foster care for children who need it, organising care for elderly people, that sort of thing.

A councillor is someone who is part of a council. Where I live, it primarily means an elected official that is part of local government.

A psychologist is someone who applies the scientific study of the mind to solve problems. For example, they could work in industry to find ways to increase employee satisfaction or to improve team performance.
