* Cement is a chemical substance that hardens when it cures.

* Concrete is a building material made with cement, water, and coarse aggregate (rock).

* Mortar is a material used to secure and fill gaps between stacked block construction (i.e. masonry)

* Cement mortar is mortar made with cement, water, and fine aggregate.

* Grout is a material used to fill gaps between tiles.

* Cement grout is grout made with cement, water, and sand.
