A saline solution is basically medical water. It doesn’t do much other than rinse out a wound. It’s also what they put in an IV when a patient is dehydrated.

Peroxide actually works to kill potential infections. The liquid works as an antiseptic, so instead of rinsing out bacteria, it kills them!
