What is the difference between volcanic ash & ejecta? (if any)

Volcanic ash is ejecta, but not all ejecta is volcanic ash.

Ejecta is essentially anything launched or propelled or released by an organic eruption. This includes ash, but also includes rocks, boulders, lava, gasses, etc. this that are also released but not necessarily ash.
