I’m sure someone that actually knows about this subject will chime in soon, but I think it has to do with the way the body breaks down natural sugars vs artificial sugars. Sugars from foods such as fruits are broken down slower, whereas artificial sugars from sodas and candy cause huge spikes in your insulin levels…..or something like that 😂😂
