Also known as BFE (boyfriend experience). It’s where a person tricks you into thinking they’re falling in love with you, then dumps you. I first became aware of love bombing in 1990 from the sitcom Designing Women. The “Donald Banks Treatment.” It’s a handsome guy in his 30’s who’s mysteriously still single. You have a few amazing dates, then he disappears. Then you find out later they’re a “love bomber.” Over and over again they trick a new person into falling in love, then they ghost or ditch because their kink was the trick. The hunt is all they’re after, and they love bomb to create their satisfaction from your ultimate embarrassment.
