Photosensitivity.

Flashing light is an uncommon natural phenomenon. We generally only see it naturally in lightning (usually far off and less bring/prominent from our perspective).

As a result, our brains haven’t explicitly evolved to handle that kind of stimulation. Most people *can* handle it. But some may run into issues.

For some people, it can cause migraines and headaches.

For others, the flash(es) can overstimulate their brain, causing an uncontrolled electrical activity that results in an epileptic seizure.

Contrary to popular belief, most people who have epilepsy don’t react to flashing lights. But there are epileptics who do.
