Your body cannot fully absorb all the vitamins crammed into this tablets so they put in enough of each so that what you do absorb is close to what is intended. Thats said if you don’t eat before taking them then you absorb even less. Vitamin B is often a massive contributor to the yellowness. Fun fact on the yellowness of non vitamined urin… if your urin is yellow other than your first morning urination then you are actually dehydrated. It should always be a bit off clear. I hope this helps.

For the same reason that red bull has that colour. It’s from the B vitamin complex, most of them aren’t well absorbed by the body (severe B vitamin deficiencies are remedied with direct injections for this reason) so there is a lot of them in oral supplements. Specifically, it will mostly come from vitamin B2 aka riboflavin. It’s name partly derives from its colour — *flavus* is the Latin for yellow. Riboflavin is not just bright yellow, it is also fluorescent, so if you hold a UV light to your stream then it will look extra bright.

I was told that if you have to take a drug test, it is advised that you overload on water. Drink as much as you can in advance and it can help to dilute the drugs in your urine to undetectable/lower levels. In order to hide the fact that you are hyperhydrating you should eat a multivitamin since it gives your urine more color. If your urine is too clear, the people administering the test will become suspicious. The additional color from the multivitamin will mislead them.

So I’ve heard.
